Toboggan Tricar was a motorcycle produced in 1905 by a company of that name of Terminus Chambers, Holborn Viaduct, London, EC, and assembled at works in Phipps Street, Finsbury, North London.
Two models were offered, a 4hp single and a 6hp twin, with the frames constructed around Chater-Lea fittings. They had a variable gear and a reverse facility, but did not have conventional gears or clutches. Its makers did not give any further informaion on the chosen method of operation.
The Armadale was an English automobile manufactured from 1906 to 1907 by Toboggan Motors of London. The so-called "perfect little three-wheeler" featured infinitely variable friction drive and a pressed steel chassis, unusual in a tricar.[1]
