1951 Nationalised under the Iron and Steel Act; became part of the Iron and Steel Corporation of Great Britain[2]
1956 Taken over by John Summers and Sons at the request of the Holding and Realization Agency[3].
1963 Closed because their hand mills could not compete with modern processes[4].
