1816 Established by John Russell and J. Matterson.
1854 Joseph Matterson dies, and his son Joseph Matterson Jnr., took over the Limerick side of the company, and other son William oversaw the London branch.
1903 William Matterson dies aged 71.
1906 Joseph Matterson Jnr dies.
