Cordes (Dos Works) Ltd.of Newport, Mon.
1903 The company was registered on 25 August, and took over the business of J. J. Cordes and Co, manufacturers of nails etc. [1]
The products were sheet steel, bars, rails, steel arches etc. as well as wire for use in springs and nails.

Nothing upstanding remains of the former works.
