Charles Herbert Thompson FCS. He was trained as a chemist and had many commercial interests in England and France.

1874 Born in Broseley, son of Patrick Thompson 52, master boot maker and his wife Mary A. Thompson 44[1]

1895 Thompson invented Verre sur Verre enamelled glass.

1896 Married Edith Grice in Stroubridge[2]

1901 Charles H Thompson 27, mechanical ... glass trade, working on own account, lived in Stourbridge with Edith Thompson 31[3]
