1910. Fatal accident to Lieut. Vivaldi Pasqua last Saturday morning after a flight during which he had traversed about 130 kiloms., the Italian Army has been robbed of a very promising flyer. He and Lieut. Savoia had arranged to carry out a series of comparative tests with their respective aeroplanes, and the latter officer, mounted on a Henry Farman machine, left Centocelle and flew to Ladispoli and back, coming to earth after being in the air a little under two hours. A few minutes after he had risen from Centocelle, Lieut. Pasqua started off in pursuit on a [[Maurice Farman]] biplane. Returning to Centocelle he continued his journey to Civita Vecchia, and it was while he was making his way back from there that the motor stopped, and the machine fell from a height of about 130 metres.
