1808 Charles Wright, Senior founded the well known ironmongery and agricultural implement business at No. 43, High-street, Boston.
c.1840 The firm also had a foundry, employing over 50 hands.[1]
1881 Partnership Change. '... the Partnership lately subsisting between us the undersigned, Charles Wright, Thomas Wright, Henry Thompson Wright, and Charles Wright the younger, trading as C., T., and H. T. Wright, of Boston, in the county of Lincoln, Ironmongers, was dissolved, by effluxion of time, on the 31st day of March, 1881 ; and that the business has been since that date and will henceforth be carried on by the undersigned, Charles Wright, Thomas Wright, and Charles Wright the younger only, under the style of C., T., and C. Wright...'[2]
