Instrument maker
1708 Thomas Wright had a workshop in London; it is probable that he took over the business of John Rowley, who became established as an instrument maker during the middle of the seventeenth century, but definite proof is lacking.
Wright was succeeded by Benjamin Cole and the Troughton brothers, which business became Troughton and Simms.
