Joseph Wilkes (1825-1907) of the Pelsall Foundry

1851 Living at Pelsall (age 26 born Sedgeley), Brass Founder and Iron Founder. With wife Susanna (age 27 born Pelsall) and son Bruce (age one month). Plus one servant. [1]

Wright and Co., of Goscote Foundry, near Walsall, where hisfather was engaged as foundry manager. At this time Messrs.
