Company founded by James Rudman in the early 19th century
1853 Property of Mr James Rudman sold without reserve. Stock included paints, oils, varnishes, rosins, brushes, phaeton, cart and trucks to be sold on the premises at 34 Welsh Back, Bristol.[1]
1881 Company run by James Rudman (1850-1898), son of the founder.[2]
1898 James Rudman died; company passed to his son Henry James Gilbert Rudman (1884-1956).
1919 Paint, varnish and glue manufacturers. [3]
1922 Managing Director: Henry James Gilbert Rudman.[4]
1956 Henry Rudman died.
1989 Company liquidated.[5]
