1864 John Brockhouse worked for Richard Berry and Son of Birmingham but left the following year.

1922 of Australian Works, Alma Street, Birmingham.

By 1930 Company was owned by J. Brockhouse and Co and was being expanded[1]

1970 First British company to make half-shafts by cold extrusion process which was expected to reduce costs significantly[2]
