Major plant on Teesside
1981 ICI was restructuring its heavy chemicals operations and decided to merge Mond Division plant at Bain Works, Teeside, into Petrochemical and Plastics Division activities.[1]
1986 Became part of the new Chemicals and Polymers group[2]
