Pond,, located in Worcester, Mass. In 1883, the firm became the Pond Machine Tool Co. and moved to Plainfields, NJ in 1887. D. W. Pond sold his interest in the company to Manning, Maxwell & Moore. They merged with Niles Tool Works and Bement Miles and Co. to form Niles-Bement-Pond Co.[1]
