As well as a number of ships bearing the name HMS Pembroke, it was also a name given to Royal Navy shore stations
- HMS Pembroke started life at Forth, then was at Harwich before moving to Chatham where it moved ashore in 1903[1].
Subsequent shore stations were given the name with numbers added, thus:
- HMS Pembroke II was RNAS Eastchurch between June 1913 to 1 April 1918 when it was turned over to the RAF.
- HMS Pembroke III was in London
- HMS Pembroke IV was at Chatham/Great Yarmouth/Nore
- HMS Pembroke V was at Dover/London
- HMS Pembroke VI was at Chatham/Lerwick
- HMS Pembroke VII was at Grimsby
- HMS Pembroke VIII was at Humber
- HMS Pembroke X was at Lowestoft
- HMS Pembroke II was an Accounting Base at Chatham, 1940-57.
