1909-14 Worked with A. V. Roe, Handley Page, and other British pioneers, in the development of experimental aircraft
WWI Design Officer at the R.N. Aircraft Experimental Station, Isle of Grain. Responsible for the design of a number of successful Seaplanes and Special Appliances for the Naval uses of Aircraft
1918 Technical Officer, attached to Seaplane Drawing Office, Air Ministry.
Published many articles on the technical aspects of aviation in "The Aeroplane," 1914 and from 1919.
