Bakke bridge (Bakke bru) is a steel bridge over the Nidelva river in Trondheim, Norway. The first bridge here was built in 1887, while the present one dates from 1927-8. It was designed by Olaf Nordhagen and August Albertsen, and constructed by Chief Engineer Halvor (Hallvard) Grytnes.[1]
The lifting sections no longer open, which is a pity, since this stretch of the river with its old wooden warehouses would be enhanced by the presence of some historic sailing vessels.
