Born the son of William P. McMinnies, Cotton manufacturer, and his wife helen Milne

1911 Boarder at the Prince of Wales Hotel, 16 and 18 De Vere Gardens, Kensington: William G. McMinnies (age 24 born Ash, Lancs.), Journalist. Also William P. McMinnies (age 55) and Helen M. McMinnies (age 49).[1]
