1857 Married Mary Craig Neil in Glasgow[1]

1858 Dissolution of the Partnership between Uvo Pauls, Edward Babst, and Charles Emile Muller, lately carrying on business as Merchants and Ship Brokers, at Middlesbrough, in the county of York and Newcastle-upon-Tyne, under the style or firm of Pauls and Co., so far as regards Charles Emile Muller. The business would be carried on by Uvo Pauls, and Edward Babst, under the firm and at the places aforesaid[2].
