Victor Edward Horsman (1886-1980) of Victor Horsman and Co. Sometimes raced as E. H. Victor
1886 January 19th. Born in Camberwell
1911 Living at Staffield Grove Road, Wallasey, Cheshire: Ed Vincent Horsman (age 25 born London), Electrician. He is the step-son of William Fisher, a Ship's Purser, and his wife.[1]
1939 Living at Earle Croft, Earle Drive, Neston, Cheshire: Victor E. Horsman (born 1886) Motors and Garages??.[2]
1980 January 21st. Died. Of 9 Marine court, Deganwy Gwynedd.
1980 'A memorial service was held in Deganwy, North Wales for Mr. Victor Horsman, the founder of one of Merseyside's oldest garage firms. Mr. Horsman died on Monday, aged 94. He started a motor-cycle business in Liverpool in 1912 and developed it into a flourishing car and motor-cycle group. For the last 30 years he lived in retirement in Deganwy where he was a keen sailor and became commodore of the Conwy Yacht Club.'[3]
