Berkhampsted Grammar School, the [[Crystal Palace Practical School of Engineering]], and University College, London. Was on the Vymwy and Rhayader water schemes for Liverpool and Birmingham; Water Engineer to the [[Jersey New Waterworks Co]]., at St. Helier's, Jersey, where he carried out extensive works; Water Engineer to the Brisbane Board of Waterworks in Queensland; carried out much work and reported on Stradbroke Island scheme for supply of Brisbane, estimated at I,000,000; carried out the first water scheme as Resident Engineer for the City of Seoul in Korea, and became Manager and Engineer for the scheme on its completion. Gained second prize in open competition on River, Parrett Navigation Improvement Scheme. Temporary Lecturer in Civil Engineering at Leeds University.
