Located near Leiston in Suffolk; two nuclear power stations on this site denoted A and B.

1961 Construction of Sizewell A started

1987 Construction of a second power plant started on an adjacent site - Sizewell B was the first nuclear station in the UK to use a Pressurised Water Reactor (PWR)[1]

2006 Sizewell A ceased generating electricity on 31 December 2006.
