1941 The company closed temporarily for the duration of the Second World War.
1947 Purchased by two brothers - Oswald and Derek Shufflebottom.
1961 the company used the trade name 'Elizabethan China'
1982 the company became Elizabethan Fine Bone China Ltd
Early 1990s Churchill China took over Florence Works
