1995 Graystone acquired the Ring Group, supplier of automotive parts and consumer lighting products[1]
1997 After a profit warning and failure of a bid for the company, the chairman of Graystone resigned.
1997/8 Disposed of the engineering businesses
1998 Name changed to Ring plc; moved head office from Wilmslow to Leeds.
