1908 Company incorporated
1916 Aitken bought the newspaper outright.
1919 Aitken founded the Sunday Express.
1920s Aitken purchased the London Evening Standard and extended the printing of the Daily and Sunday Express to plants in Manchester and Glasgow.
1974 the Glasgow printing plant was sold, as was a Glasgow evening paper, the Glasgow Evening Citizen, and the printing of the Scottish Daily and Sunday Express was transferred to Manchester. I
1977 Trafalgar House purchased Beaverbrook Newspapers Ltd, subsequently renamed Express Newspapers Ltd
