Edward Cresswell and Sons of Tipton
For many years, occupied the Tipton Ironworks and Blast Furnaces but ultimately failed.
1848 250 tons of iron are made weekly [1]
1856 Boiler explosion at the ironworks.Seven or eight men and boys injured. An 8 or 9 year old lad named Richard Rudge died from his injuries.[2]
