Became apprenticed to his father's coachbuilding business in 1895, and during Boer War started to sell bicycles. Within two years was selling these at rate of over 500 a year. 1953 Chairman and Managing Director, W. &. G. Lambert Ltd., Castle Street, Thetford. Born Thetford, 8th February, 1880. Became apprenticed to his father's coachbuilding business in 1895, and during Boer War started to sell bicycles. Within two years was selling these at rate of over 500 a year. Later he was one of the first to deal in motor cycles and cars.
