1777 Advert: 'This is to acquaint the PUBLIC, THAT THOMAS FROST (late Apprentice to Mr. Joseph Barnett, Turner) is begun Business near the Top of Market-street-lane:, opposite Fountain-street, Manchester, where all Sorts of Turn’d Work is performed in the Manner, and on the most reasonable Terms, by the Public’s most obedient Servant, THOMAS FROST.
N. B. Cabinet Makers and Joiners may have their Work done in the most expeditious Manner.'[1]
