1989 The name of the company was changed to F. H. T. Holdings Ltd
1989 F. H. Tomkins Buckle Co was incorporated as a subsidiary of F. H. T. Holdings; the ultimate parent was Tomkins plc
1993 F. H. T. Holdings which was owned by Pegler-Hattersley plc and Tomkins Investments Ltd ceased appointing auditors
