1887 Died. 'By the death of this gentleman, which took place at Kirkcaldy yesterday, there passed away eminent civil engineer and accomplished naturalist. Like other members of his family, Mr Sang was also a distinguished mathematician, and won high honours for his contributions to that science and for his inventions. He was engineer for many important public works in and beyond Fife, among which may be mentioned the East of Fife Railway, the Wemyss and Buckhaven Railway, Burntisland Water Works, Water Works, and Wemyss Water Works. His most extensive work, however, was the Kirkcaldy and Dysart water supply, which has done much to promote the progress of the two burghs.
