1896 Established by James Pringle Cochrane.
1921 J. P. Cochrane and Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with a capital of £55,000 to take over the business of the same name and to manufacture golf balls, golf clubs, motor and cycle tyres and tubes.[1]
1930 Liquidators were appointed to wind up the company voluntarily with a view to its reconstruction.[2]
