1793 Sale Notice: 'TO BE SOLD, Together or in Parcels, at Masborough Common, near Rotheram, on Thursday the 18th Day of April, 1793, THE following MATERIALS belonging to the late Masborough Common COLLIERY, viz. Two Cylinders, one 60 Inches and the other 55 Inches Diameter, with Pistons and Weights to each of them. Fifteen Yards of Cast-Iron Common Trees, 15 Inches Diameter, with 5 Working Barrels, each 12 Inches Diameter, and Wind Bore and Clack Piece to each Barrel. Two communicating Pipes, to each Cylinder, with Receivers and Sink Pipes to them. Seven Yards and an half of Jack Head Pipes, 10 Inches Diameter, and 30 Yards of ditto, 9 inches Diameter. One hundred and twenty Yards of Wood Pipes, 14 Inches Diameter, well hooped with Iron.
