at Monkhide, Herefordshire (6 miles ENE of Hereford).
This masonry bridge has a remarkable degree of skew (27/63 degrees). Designed by Stephen Ballard (1804-1890) in 1843 to take a minor road over the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal.
