This is an attractive steel or wrought iron arch bridge, with cast iron railings, over the the disused, but still water-filled Wendover Arm of the Grand Union Canal (1799. It was built in 1880, connecting Baron Alfred de Rothschild's parkland north of the canal with the rest of his estate. The track over the bridge is out of bounds to the public, being part of the RAF Halton base.
