Number 12 Bridge Railway Accommodation Bridge, Etherley Lane, Escomb, Bishop Auckland

A rare example of a wrought iron lenticular truss skew road bridge.

Made in 1842 by Shildon Works in conjunction with John Storey of Darlington, for the Bishop Auckland and Weardale Railway. Span 86 feet 3 inches.

Grade II* listed.
