Iron Founders of Sunderland.
1966 -William Lee and Sons started in business in the 1880s, and at first made grey iron and whiteheart malleable castings. Grey iron casting was discontinued in 1937, and in recent years the company has concentrated on the production of whiteheart, blackheart and pearlitic malleable castings to the appropriate British Standard Specifications.[1]
