'...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, William Little and Robert Smith, lately carrying on business as Cotton Spinners at Belmont, in the county of Lancaster, under the style or firm of Little and Smith, has been this day dissolved by mutual consent- As witness our hands this 11th day of October, 1869...'[1]
