1859 Patent. '1670 And Richard Longstaff, of Mornington road, New Cross, in the county of Kent, Pattern Maker, and Abraham Pullan, of Fortie Cottage, New Cross, in the same county, Engineer, have given the like notice in respect of the invention of "improvements in traction or locomotive engines."'[1]
1860 Produced a steam vehicle.[2]
