Louis GRAVEN, who was elected a Member of the Institution in 1898, will be remembered for his services in connection with the River Plate Branch, in the formation and development of which he played an active part. He was Chairman of the Branch and a Member of Council in 1928.
He was born in Dublin in 1861, and at the age of twenty-three went to Argentina, where he spent almost the entire remainder of his long career.
