- A 4-mile line privately owned that ran between Chathill and Seahouses and opened in 1898. [1]
- 1892 The company was incorporated.
- 1898 The line, 4 miles in length, was opened for goods traffic on August 1st and for passenger traffic on December 14th. [2]
- After 1939 it was managed by the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER)
- The last train ran in 1951.
