1889 The business was established.
1900 The firm of Scroggie Brothers and Hazel, boot and shoe manufacturers, leather merchants and manufacturers, Carnoustie and Dundee, was dissolved with effect from 31 December 1899. The firm was carried on by Edward Scroggie, David Scroggie, and Charles Alfred Scroggie under the name of Scroggie Brothers.[1]
1938 Scroggie Brothers Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £4,000, to acquire and carry on the business of leather merchants and mill furnishers carried on by Scroggie Brothers at 15 and 17 Barrack Street, Dundee, and Calcutta, India.[2]
1962 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[3]
1972 The company was dissolved.[4]
