1990 Previously J. H. Fenner and Co (Holdings); renamed Fenner plc[1]
1990s: Major restructuring took place, with a series of acquisitions and disposals. By the end of the decade, the Company had transformed from an industrial conglomerate into a group with two distinct divisions, each focused on products made from reinforced polymers and well positioned to make further strategic progress.
1995 Creation of Advanced Engineering Products Division
1998 Disposed of Power Transmission Division, and Fluid Power Division. Fenner Power Transmission Group was set up to acquire the Fenner Power Transmission Division.
2001 Acquired Dunlop Conveyor Belting
2005 Acquired Wellington Holdings, which significantly increased Fenner’s presence in the oil & gas industry, EGC, and Secant Medical LLC, which gave it an entry to the medical products industry.
2016: The group specialized in reinforced polymer technology
