1984 Alumasc Group was formed as a management buyout of 2 business from Consolidated Gold Fields, Alumasc and Ingersoll.[2]
By 1986 was involved in a diverse range of products from aluminium beer kegs, through aluminium building products to Ingersoll locks. The company went public.
