1982 Norsk Hydro acquired the fertilizer activities of Fisons. A new subsidiary was formed Norsk Hydro Fertilizers Ltd.
1988 Name changed to Hydro Fertilizers Ltd
1993 Name changed to Hydro Agri (UK) Ltd, a subsidiary of Norsk Hydro (UK) Ltd
