1912 Mitchell and Rae Limited was incorporated, with capital of £30,000, to acquire the business of Mitchell & Rae, grain, feeding stuff, manure, lime, and coal merchants, and shipowners, carried on at Newburgh and Ellon, Aberdeenshire.[1]

1978 The company was dissolved.[2]
