1910 Died. 'THE funeral of Mr. Charles Albert Bull, who fourteen years ago retired from the Public Works Department, India, took place at Cheltenham on Feb. 24. In his youth Mr. Bull was on the staff of a leading railway contractor, and was engaged in Italy at the time of the outbreak of the War of Independence. He attached himself to the English Legion which was raised to support Garibaldi, and served as its interpreter. He was afterwards for a short time at some mines in Bogota, but in 1868 was appointed to the Indian Public Works Department, and held various important positions in railway engineering until his retirement in 1896.
