Strathaven, Lanarkshire

1922 Elder and Watson Limited, of Dunlop Street, Strathaven, was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £30,000, to carry on business as hosiery manufacturers.[1]

1990 The company was dissolved.[2]

Had a single-cylinder horizontal mill engine by Crowhall and Campbell, now at the Anson Engine Museum.
