1916 The Galloway Engineering Company Limited, of Shakespeare Street, Dumfries, was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £40,000, to carry on the business of engineers, electricians, chemists, etc.[1]
Thomas Charles Willis Pullinger was managing director and remained so for many years
WWI Manufactured aero engines. After the war the company began the manufacture of cars, including the 10.5 Galloway, an economical two-seater coupe.[2]
1925 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[3]
