1898 Dissolution of the Partnership between William Thompson Beanland, George Barker Hey, Arthur Mellor Beardsell, and Robert John Hardy Beanland carrying on business as Worsted Spinners at Spring Grove Mills Clayton West and Nortonthorpe Mills, Scissett, both in the county of York under the style or firm of R. Beanland and Co. . All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by William Thompson Beanland, Arthur Mellor Beardsell and Robert John Hardy Beanland.[2]

1963 name changed to Allied Textile Companies Ltd
1967 R. Beanland and Co. Ltd. Spring Grove Mills, Clayton West, Huddersfield, received an exemption from the Ministry of Labour regarding employment of women and young people[3]
