'...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Edward Powell, Thomas Edwards, and William Roberts, as Cutlers and Ironmongers, in the city of Chester, under the style or firm of Powell, Edwards, and Company, was dissolved, on the 11th day of November last, by mutual consent; and that the business will in future be carried on by the said Thomas Edwards alone, under the same style as heretofore...'[1]
