1919 James Kilpatrick and Son Limited, Paisley, was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £15,000, to acquire the goodwill of the business of electrical and general engineers carried on by John Kilpatrick and William Robert Scott and to extend and develop same.[1]
1957 At its 34th annual meeting Power Securities Corporation Ltd recognised James Kilpatrick and Son Ltd as one its subsidiaries[2].
1961 Electrical engineers, specialising in electrical engineering contracting, armature winding, switchboard building and overhead transmission engineering. 1,200 employees. [3]
Later became part of Balfour Kilpatrick
